Roccapugliese
(2 castle units sleep 4 people and 1 trullo unit sleeps 3 people)
Villa Location
Roccapugliese is located about 5 miles outside of Ostuni. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden of olive trees and encircled by an ancient stone wall. The trullo is located in a separate private area of the estate. A long driveway leads to the main gate from where you can reach Ostuni and the beach.
Local Area
Ostuni, located just south of Bari on the Adriatic coast, is known as the White City because of the lime that was used to paint the exterior of the townhouses. Walk up the steep hill to the Cathedral for beautiful views of olive groves, the town and the Adriatic. The nearby beaches offer plenty of water activities, such as snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, and fishing. Not far from Ostuni is the Natural Reserve of Torre Guaceto. You can enjoy tennis, gold, and horseback riding in the surrounding countryside.
