Villa Location
Villa del Bosco is in the Valdarno area, which borders directly on the Chianti classico area. The villa is surrounded by woods, accessed by a well-kept gravel road. In about 30 minutes you can walk to a small village, where you will find a grocery store, a good Osteria, a church and a post office. The property is secluded but not remote: just ideal for peaceful relaxation, or festive evenings with family and friends.

Local Area
Montevarchi, the main town of the Arno Valley, is only 6 km away. Here you can find a large shopping area and factory outlets of Prada, Gucci, Armani and Dolce & Gabbana. Montevarchi also offers the interesting Museo Paleontologico, the Museo Tempietto Robbiano and the Modern Art Museum. Both Arezzo and Siena are within a short 45 minute drive. In the country around Villa del Bosco you can fish, bike, and ride horses. The well known Golf Club dell'Ugolino, southeast of Florence, is about 31 miles from the property.

There are several good Osterie within a 15-20 minutes drive. To mention a couple: Osteria di Rendola, Osteria Pitena (good for fish) and Enoteca da I Frasca for wine tasting, good salami, cheeses and Tuscan typical fares.

Day Trips
	A tour of the Chianti region, with its tiny villages, and beautiful hillsides dotted by medieval castles.
	Florence is about 32 miles away.
	Cortona, site of the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun" is 50 miles away. Also stop at Lake Trasimeno when visiting Cortona.
	Montalcino and Montepulciano are both about 62 miles away. You should definitely taste the local wines!
