Villa Vista sits on a hillside and offers a spectacular view of the town of Todi and its surrounding countryside, including seemingly endless acres of magnificent sunflowers in summer. You will reach the property through its own remote-controlled gate and access road. Upon entering, you will find yourself in the villa's splendid, private gardens.

Local Area
The drive to Todi takes only a few minutes. Todi has charming piazzas and narrow medieval streets that invite you to stroll, enjoy the many cafes and trattorie, or get lost in the stores of antique dealers. There are numerous palazzi and churches. Be sure to visit Bramante's Santa Maria della Consolazione. For active outdoorspeople, the surrounding hills are great for horseback riding, hot air ballooning, rafting and fishing. The area also boasts three golf courses.

Day Trips
	Shop in Deruta for its famous pottery (about 20 miles away).
	Be sure to visit Orvieto for its Duomo and its white wine (about 25 miles away).
	Perugia is well worth a visit for its Perugina chocolate and much more (about 30 miles away).
	In Assisi, which is about an hour away, you can visit the church of Saint Francis, with its famous frescoes by Giotto (about 40 miles away).
	Near Assisi is the charming town of Spello, where every year inhabitants host the Infiorata -- a celebration of the Corpus Domini in which the locals cover the ancient Roman roads with flower petals, making elaborate designs (about 45 miles away).
	An hour's drive will also take you to the beautiful historic town of Spoleto. If you're lucky enough to be there in July be sure to get tickets for some of the performances of the Festival dei due Mondi (about 30 miles away).
